Today is the third day of Intel ISEF 2019, when is the day before the Interview session. In the morning, finalist interviewed by some press and explained their motivation and research. It includes Society for Science and the Public (SSP), and they wrote the Japanese Projects too. Not only the press interview but also meet their interpreters and practiced presentation to prepare for tomorrow’s interview session.
At lunchtime, all the Team Japan gather at once. Because of some preparations and procedures, they couldn’t meet face to face for a while. This brief meeting seems made finalists relaxed.
In the afternoon, a Panel Discussion, which welcomes some ISEF OB/OG and Nobel Prize Researcher, was held.
From the evening, all the Intel ISEF finalists are invited to the Major League Baseball game. The card was Pittsburg Pirates vs Arizona Diamondbacks. Finalists enjoyed the spectacular game with 4 home runs.
Tomorrow is Project Interview Day. It takes 8 hours for judging.
